I have been working along side Joe Rice as Board members of Legacy Community Academy, an organization of Christian schools, for over two years. The board is a role based board and Joe leads in development and strategic planning and organization focused on the integration of mission and vision throughout the organization as a whole. Joe’s skills in this area are second to none. He is able to see the entire organization and design a cohesive, comprehensive strategic plan that is used to focus and direct the organization, set sustainable systems to achieve mission/vision and develop strategic partners to see the short and long term goals come to fruition. Joe agreed to step into the role of interim Executive Director during a season of transition bringing the strength of a strategic thinker while stabilizing a team. I strongly recommend Joe to any organization needing a strategic plan, help with prioritizing growth initiatives and vision and mission expansion and reach through generosity development. 

Joe is a very experienced leader who has a servant's heart. He has the ability to see the big picture and yet help you with theplan to ensure that you reach your dreams.

Joe guided us through the strategic planning process,  Joe supported our agency's first cross-functional strategic plan with direct line staff, leadership and board. Joe's process and thought provoking questions led us to an amazing three year plan, with all parties taking ownership for the process. Great 2 days, participants walked away energized and enthusiastic which carried to the rest of the board!!

I wholeheartedly recommend Joe Rice for the outstanding consultant work he does. Joe guided our church staff and volunteers through a strategic planning process that helped us work through several substantial barriers. Joe also was a tremendous resource for the invaluable work of vision clarification and team alignment. Additionally, Joe was able to come alongside our newly hired XP and do some very beneficial coaching. Joe helped clarify the role of an XP, and give confidence and direction with our new hire. Joe has remained not only a valued resource but also a great friend. Joe will never phone it in. He will put his heart and soul into his work and become part of your team as he did ours.

Over the year that Joe and Generosity have worked with us I have found him to be authentic, astute, committed, consistent, faith-filled, honest, insightful, intuitive, positive, prepared, purposeful, sincere, supportive, thorough and experientially wise. In a world of over promising and under delivering Joe is the antithesis. From the beginning of our process his approach to stewardship and capital campaigns was innovative and encompassing. As the weeks turned into months his acumen and conviction have been greatly enhanced by an unwavering follow through from the minute to the magnanimous. At his core, Joe brings a remarkable combination of financial aptitude and pastor's heart together to make sure business savy is also in spirit savory. 

Joe did an outstanding job developing and implementing a planning process at Fellowship Bible Church that ensured alignment on vision, priorities and accountabilities. Joe has towering strengths in the areas of planning and execution. Because of Joe's leadership, Fellowship was able to impact more lives for the Gospel of Jesus Christ by increasing its ministry reach and effectiveness.
